The fall of the Berlin Wall was thought to have marked the beginning of a new peace for Europe. Yet in the Balkans, "peace" did not.
Meanwhile, the island republic of Kyrasia is experiencing its own bloody breakdown. The end of the Kyrasian People's Republic was marked by the assassinations of the successors to the previous regime. In the resulting power vacuum, various armed factions saw an opportunity to seize power. The armed forces and national police force seized power and now seek to bring them under control, through any means necessary.
